NASA Employment – Program Manager

Job Description:

Responsible for Digital video acquisition, processing, distribution systems, supporting program specific digital video applications, distribution to the public, governmental agencies, educational and scientific consumers of digital video.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides an Agency-wide perspective to the program imagery working groups by actively participating in these groups.
• Provides a coordinated point-of-entry for the Agency to the still imagery, television, and video industry as well as other government entities and working groups and ensures all inbound contacts are coordinated among all parties to this agreement.
• Identifies agency-wide policy and procedures, standards, and best practices for digital and still imagery applications. Provide NASA focal point for all aspects of the program.
• The Program Manager is responsible for the Maintenance of the Information Technology Security Plan and Authorization to Operate for the digital NASA TV system.
• Chairs control boards established for NASA TV system, web video distribution, and still imagery processing and distribution.
• Maintains the Agency Scientific and Technical Information (STI) program and responsible for the release of scientific and technical publications to advance aerospace knowledge.
• Serves as the NASA Imagery Expert Program (NIEP) Program Manager.
